You will need a 10mm or 3/8 hex wrench, a large 6%26quot;-8%26quot; C-clamp.
Jack up the car, pull off the wheel. You will see 2 bolts on each end, on behind the caliper. You may be able to pull out one bolt and swing the caliper off the rotor or take out both bolts and set it where it doesn't stress the brake hose. Remove the rotor and have it turned at a machine shop for about $10 ea. or buy new rotors. Replace rotors,
Then use your C-clamp and one old pad to compress the caliper piston back in to the caliper. Replace brake pads puting stop squeak on the back of pads where they touch the caliper. Replace the caliper and the 2 bolts put your wheel back on and pump on the brake pedal until it is firm and your done.
Remember, make sure you re-tighten your lug nuts after you take the jack away. How do you change the brakes on a Saturn SC2?Its easy. Thats why a shop will not charge you much. Probably will need the rotors to go with the pads, abaout $25 each.
