I hav a 1997 Chevy Blazer and I cant shift out of park. It'll only shift out of neutral. Any ideas about prob?

I have a 97 chevy blazer and it wont shift out of park. I can only drive it by starting it in neutral and shifting to drive. I dont use my e-brake often. and i just changed my front rotors and brakes. Any ideas on how to fix this problem.I hav a 1997 Chevy Blazer and I cant shift out of park.
